We are Skyline Fire Clearance Tree Service, a licensed, bonded, and insured tree service contractor providing professional tree services and defensible space fire clearance, proudly serving mountain residents and communities in Santa Cruz County.

We are mountain residents with a decade of experience specializing in creating defensible space. We love what we do and take pride in our work, and we maintain our own health and fitness as high-level athletes — which matters when the job calls for steep slopes and technical terrain, where we rely on professional safety equipment every time.

We offer a broad range of professional tree services and defensible space fire clearance, from ground-based clearance and brush work to hazardous tree removal. Our tools are professional, top-of-the-line Stihl equipment, kept clean and properly maintained for safety and performance.

California state law — Public Resources Code 4291 — requires one hundred feet of defensible space around your home, and the newest regulations add Zone Zero Ember Defense: a five-foot ember-resistant perimeter immediately around the structure.
